LATEST NEWS: Diddy’s Lawyer Reveals ‘Roughest’ Part of Prison Life—Leaving Rapper Desperate to Get Out .Cau

October 11, 2024 by cau cau

P Diddy’s lawyer has revealed the ‘roughest’ part of prison life which has left the rapper desperate to get out.

It has been reported that Sean Combs is struggling with the food in prison. The rapper is currently in jail as he has been accused of a series of sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

His lawyer Marc Agnifilo has now spoken out about how Combs is doing while in prison. Combs has pleaded not guilty to his charges and is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His trial is set for May 5, 2025 and he has been denied bail.

Agnifilo said: “I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it.” Anthony L. Ricco added that Combs is “making an adjustment” amid his legal setback. Ricco said: “Sometimes, the more you push a person down, the stronger they get. Nobody’s OK with staying in jail.”

According to a Federal Bureau of Prisons handbook obtained by E! News, the prison offers “regular, heart healthy and no-flesh dietary options” as well as inmates being able to purchase food from the commissary. Food options on the commissary list include tuna in chilli sauce, honey buns, cashews, instant grits, protein bars and spam.

Because of the serious nature of the crimes he is accused of, if found guilty of racketeering, trafficking, and transportation to engage in prosecution, Combs would spend a minimum of 15 years behind bars and come out when he was 69-years-old. Or if the judge decides a higher penalty, he could get a life sentence.

Combs appeared in court on Thursday and was captured in his prison clothes for the first time. Courtroom sketch artists depicted the rapper in a radically different style to his usual clothes, wearing a muted ill-fitting prison-issued shirt at the pre-trial hearing to decide evidence to be used in the case.

The 54-year-old appeared in court beside his lawyers. He reportedly smiled briefly at the sight of his mother and some of his children in the public gallery to support him, after 120 women came forward alleging abuse at Diddy’s hands.

On their way into the court, his family members were booed and jeered by a waiting crowd, many of whom chanted at mum Janice, 84, “Your son is a predator.” After the hearing came to an end, Diddy was returned to prison after being twice denied bail on a $50 million bond. His lawyers have now appealed his bail for a third time and the case is now before the US Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
