Alex Fine, husband of Cassie Ventura, has publicly condemned Sean “Diddy” Combs in light of the disturbing footage that surfaced, showing Combs assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway in 2016. In a heartfelt open letter shared on Instagram, Fine expressed his unwavering support for his wife while emphasizing the importance of combating violence against women and girls.
In his letter, Fine stated, “Men who hit women aren’t men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men.” He urged men to take responsibility for their actions and to hold each other accountable, highlighting that violence against women should not be tolerated. He stressed the need for women to feel safe and protected, urging men to regard the women in their lives with the utmost respect.
Fine also addressed survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, offering them words of encouragement and solidarity. “To all the survivors, you’re not alone, and there are men and women who care only for your wellbeing and safety,” he wrote, underscoring the need for support and empowerment for victims.
He concluded his letter by directing a message to abusers, declaring, “You’re done, you’re not safe anymore, you’re not protected anymore, the men by your side are just as weak.” Fine’s strong stance against abuse reflects a growing movement advocating for accountability and change regarding how society addresses violence against women.
