Al B. Sure! is gearing up to take legal action against those involved in the posthumous memoir of his late ex-wife, Kim Porter, which he claims is a “fake” representation of her life based on alleged diary entries. Kim, who was previously in a relationship with music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs—currently facing serious legal charges—was also a notable figure in Al’s life.
In a recent Instagram post, the Nite and Day singer expressed his frustration, stating, “I am formally requesting an investigation into the individuals who were associated with Ms. Kimberly Porter, including the publicists who helped draft this book.” The memoir, titled *Kim’s Lost Words*, reportedly contains harsh allegations about both Diddy and Al B. Sure!.
Al included excerpts from the alleged diary entries in his post, claiming that those close to Kim were instructed to take her computer and mobile devices, which held her original notes for the memoir. He stated, “There will be a significant lawsuit directed at the individuals responsible for dragging my name into this nonsense.” Al further emphasized that he and Kim had communicated just days before her passing and noted that she was in good health at that time. Kim passed away in 2018 at the age of 47 from pneumonia.
“Sadly, Kimberlina was taken from us far too soon, before she could share her true thoughts. The unauthorized release of this book on Amazon raises many questions, especially considering the disappearance of her computer and vital evidence,” he wrote.
Al elaborated that Kim had potential insights into her own experiences of abuse, including being drugged and exposure to sex and human trafficking. He likened her situation to that of Cassie Ventura, suggesting that Kim’s revelations might have posed a threat to those profiting from such activities.
Al B. Sure! and Kim were married from 1989 to 1990 and share a son, Quincy Brown. Diddy adopted Quincy when he was three during his relationship with Kim, which lasted from 1994 to 2007. Kim also had three children with Diddy: son Christian Combs and twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila.
