The dog displayed remarkable strength when it chose to nurture the piglets after their mother passed away in grief.

When Wes Trevor, the proprietor of ‘Spectrum Plants Gold Coast’ in Australia, learned about eight tiny pigs in bad condition, he did not hesitate and took them in..

To get the piglets back on their feet, they provided them special food at first. But then something unexpected happened.

Treasure, a stray boxer breed dog, observed the pigs and her maternal instincts took in. She started caring the piglets as if they were her own children.

Soon after, she started producing milk, and the tiny pigs were delighted to suckle on the mother dog.

Wes wasn’t sure if it was good for the dog and pigs, but after consulting with a vet, he was told that it was fine as long as the pigs got extra nutrients and didn’t harm the dog.

This touching anecdote demonstrates that dogs are tremendously caring and remarkable creatures.
