Despite being a supporter of the Time’s Up campaign, Emma Watson disappointed people when revealing a misspelled tattoo on her arm.
Actress Emma Watson showed off her Time’s Up tattoo on her arm as a show of support for the campaign at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Emma appeared elegant and classy in a black dress and her brown hair was a bit “messy”. Notably, her tattoo had a small typo. It can be seen that Watson’s tattoo reads “Times Up” instead of “Time’s Up” – meaning it is missing the quotation mark between the “e” and “s”. Besides, if you look closely, this may just be a temporary tattoo. However, this message is still a correct and commendable action of the actress for this women’s rights movement.
At the Oscars after-party, Watson had a great time chatting and enjoying wine with the beautiful Jennifer Garner. This was also the first Oscar after-party for the Beauty and the Beast star.
In response to the backlash over the tattoo, Emma took to Twitter to clarify that it was indeed a temporary tattoo and that she was aware of the spelling error. She also made sure it would never happen again: “This is indeed a temporary tattoo. Experience with quotation marks is a must.”
