AD Smith and Ollie Sutherland of Love is Blind Reveal Plans for Two Weddings
AD Smith and Ollie Sutherland, stars of Love is Blind, have big plans for their upcoming nuptials — and they’re not just having one wedding.
In the March 11 episode of Smith’s What’s the Reality podcast, the couple shared details about their wedding plans, revealing they intend to have two ceremonies: one in the U.S. and another in the U.K.
“We do have a wedding to plan,” Smith, whose full name is Amber Desiree, said. “We have a date.”
While the couple didn’t disclose the exact date, Sutherland hinted that it holds special significance for them. “It’s quite important to us,” he said, teasing fans to speculate on the details.
In addition to the U.S. ceremony for Smith’s family, Sutherland explained that the couple would host another celebration in the U.K. for his side of the family. “For those who can’t make it to the Stateside one, I want a big thing in the U.K. as well,” Sutherland said. “It gives us an excuse to have two big ceremonies, which I’m looking forward to.”
Smith and Sutherland, who met while filming Perfect Match season 3, got engaged during the Love is Blind season 8 reunion on March 9. They had previously fueled dating rumors after being spotted together at a dinner in Mexico following the filming of Perfect Match.
During the reunion, Sutherland surprised Smith with a heartfelt proposal, telling her, “You’re my best friend, you’re the love of my life. I’ve never felt as happy as I have since I’ve met you. Nothing would make me happier than spending the rest of my life loving you.” Smith excitedly accepted his proposal, and the couple shared a kiss.
The couple also credited their time on Love is Blind with helping them build a strong foundation in their relationship, noting their shared values and intentional conversations during their time together.
