Kim Kardashian Reflects on Dating Janet Jackson’s Nephew and a Funny Pictionary Mishap

Kim Kardashian is reminiscing about a past romance and a memorable game night with the Jackson family.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim, 44, opened up about her personal connection to Janet Jackson while boarding her private jet to attend the music legend’s concert. Dressed in the iconic outfit Janet wore in her If music video, Kim explained why the singer holds a special place in her heart.
“Janet means so much to me, more on a personal level than anyone could really imagine,” she shared before revealing that she had dated Janet’s nephew, TJ Jackson, for years, beginning in junior high.
Kim also recalled being invited to the Jackson family’s game nights, where she once experienced a nerve-wracking moment during a round of Pictionary.
“One time, the entire Jackson family and me were playing Pictionary. I was so nervous because Janet was my everything,” she admitted.
Caught up in the moment, Kim mistakenly drew a right angle instead of an angel, which was the correct word.
“Jermaine [Jackson] came up to me afterwards and said, ‘Baby girl, the word was ‘angel,’ but I felt so bad for you that we’re gonna let you have this point,’” Kim recalled, laughing. “I wanted to melt.”
With a smile, she joked, “So, she will always be my angle. My little angle.”
Kim has expressed her admiration for Janet Jackson on multiple occasions. In June 2024, she attended Janet’s concert in Palm Springs while wearing the exact outfit from the singer’s If music video. She first teased the look on Instagram Stories, sharing a video of herself walking in black flared pants with fringe detailing, paired with a black crop top featuring white boning across the chest.
Back in 2021, Kim revealed that she had won the custom outfit at an auction, bidding $25,000 in honor of Janet’s 55th birthday.
“For @janetjackson’s bday, because I’m such a fan, I can’t believe I won this on @juliens_auctions,” she excitedly posted at the time.
