Lindsie Chrisley Reflects on 2019 Hidden Camera Scandal with Bachelor Nation’s Robby Hayes
Lindsie Chrisley recently opened up about her 2019 hidden camera scandal during an episode of Tyler and Catelynn Baltierra’s podcast.
The Chrisley Knows Best alum recalled that shortly after her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were indicted for financial fraud, TMZ contacted her around 3–4 a.m., asking about a police report she had filed regarding threats related to an intimate video.
Lindsie revealed that the footage was captured by a security camera at a former friend’s house while she was involved with The Bachelorette alum Robby Hayes. She emphasized that she was completely unaware of the recording and never consented to being filmed.
When news of the video leaked, she took the matter to the FBI, demanding a full investigation and ensuring the footage would not be distributed. The incident caused significant tension within her family, especially as it surfaced just days after her parents’ legal troubles.
Robby Hayes later addressed the situation, confirming that they had not intentionally recorded anything and that the footage was captured accidentally by a home security system.
The ordeal had a lasting impact on Lindsie’s personal life, leading her to step away from the drama and focus on her private life and podcasting career.
